Dungeon Loot Guide
What to farm at each level: Ava's chests until 20, the Zarath set if you want dungeons, and the Sands of Time Aqua set from 30 to 90.
Three loot tracks
- Levels 2–20. Ava in Elumia City. One chest per level. The Level 20 Chest is four class Epic pieces.
- Dungeons, whenever you have a key. Zarath the Silent City. This is the Zarath set.
- Levels 30–90. The Sands of Time, through Lumie. This is the Aqua set.

Before the dungeons: Ava
Do not skip the city chests to rush a dungeon. Ava's Level 20 Chest is the epic set you are supposed to be wearing when the story opens Tandaia Temple, and it is the set you wear while you climb from 20 to 30.

Zarath the Silent City
Zarath is the dungeon set. Yor Danmon sends you after the components for a Zarath Silent City Key. Each entry spends a key. Higher keys exist (Epic, Legendary, Nightmare) when you are farming the top end of the set.
Loot is class gear plus shared jewelry:
- Champion — sword or spear, shield, helm, armor
- Battlemage — off-hand, helm, armor
- Archer — bow, quiver, helm, armor
- Everyone — Zarath ring and necklace
Quality runs Common, Rare, Mystic, Epic, Legendary. Replace a slot when the new drop is a higher quality than what you have equipped. The Aqua set in the Sands is still the long progression from 30 to 90. Zarath is what you run when you want dungeon gear on top of that.
Sands of Time Aqua set
Lumie opens the Sands of Time at level 30. From there until 90 you are farming the Aqua set. In the loot database this line is Aqua Weapon, Aqua OffHand, Aqua Armor, and Aqua Helm. Weapons and off-hands roll Water Damage. Helms and chest pieces roll Water Resist. Aqua pieces do not masterwork. You replace the whole rank when you outlevel it.

Enter at 30 already in your level 20 epic set and a pet. Step up the Aqua rank as soon as the next one equips. At 40 you should be in Depthite, at 60 in Kelpforge, at 80 in Leviathium, and the level 90 goal is Thalassium. Lumie inside the Sands can send you home and craft Stormforged upgrades plus pets.
Runes while you farm
Every Ava chest through level 20 pays rune shards, and the level 2 chest includes a class Common rune. Crescent runes are the drops you pocket in the field. Craft them with Kaidan Rex in the city. A better rune is a skill upgrade, so equip it before you go back through Lumie's door.
